I've sporadically written about Amateur Radio data communications over the years, including periods of writing for (and very briefly, editing) the TAPR Packet Status Register (PSR) newsletter, and a column in CQ Amateur Radio magazine.
As of 2020, I'm semi-retired and living in Bellingham, Washington and devoting much of my time to exploring Amateur Radio Data Communications.
I'm the Editor of Zero Retries Newsletter which discusses technological innovation in Amateur Radio.
The Zero Retries Blog provides brief mentions of developments in "Advanced" Data Communications in, or potentially applicable to "Advanced" Data Communications in Amateur Radio - including technologies, projects, systems, etc. such as use of advanced protocols such as TCP/IP, higher speeds such as 9600 bps and faster data rates, and Software Defined Radio technologies as applied to data communications. Significant developments are often discussed in depth in the Zero Retries Newsletter.
For completeness, over time, I will migrate my past writing that is relevant to the subject matter of Zero Retries to the Zero Retries Blog.
The Zero Retries Blog also features previews of the Zero Retries Newsletter - subscription information here.
The Zero Retries Blog and Zero Retries Newsletter were begun in 2016 by Steve Stroh, as a publication of Zero Retries.
