I’m interested in his Esp32 aprs tracker. I have emailed Jason for the user manual as his website will not allow it so I hope to see further developments in this product

Dale - Those do look like interesting products. I remember Jason saying that they've been in development and refinement for years, so I'm sure they're going to be awesome.

I’m so glad you got to talk to Dewayne Hendricks WA8DZP.

Anybody with the history of assisting Mac uses enjoy amateur radio is a hero in my book.

Thank you for your touching words.

Doc - Dewayne's love for the Mac goes way back. I think that he was an Apple employee decades ago. Once the Mac laptops came out, I don't think he ever used anything else other than the occasional Linux server.

Thanks for providing the detailed insight into the FCC commenting process. No one else is doing this even though it's arguably one of the most important responsibilities of an amateur radio operator. The "Comment Team" and an accompanying playbook is a great idea.

Cale - Thanks! That kind of explanation would seem to be a natural function of the "National Association for Amateur Radio", but alas, they don't seem to think so.

Did you read the FCC chapter of

project 2025. Of course expecting spectrum pressure but other goodies as well like section 230. Be interested in your thoughts.

Wonderful reporting you do on such a wide breadth of interest. Thank you.

David - Thanks for reminding me about this. Per our subsequent discussions about this, I do plan to read the FCC section of Project 2025, and comment in Zero Retries if I see anything applicable to Amateur Radio and adjacent areas. But currently I'm not aware of anything other than general pressure on "vulnerable" spectrum allocations by predatory companies that are well financed for "takeovers". But another writing project that I plan to launch in 2025 will be a good vehicle for such discussions.
