Our ionosphere does a marvellous job returning HF signals back to earth. What does this mean for
Digital? One HF station , a skip distance away, can cover huge areas, whole countries or states, so
why not have a repeater or several, many many less than VHF or UHF would need to cover the same area? So, that's what I'm doing on HF with Codec2 and my 20W, it has been seen covering New Zealand and Victoria from here Sydney. This is experimenting, see qso.freedv.org for coordination.
Nothing much to say except thanks for another issue. I'm always happy to see another edition of this newsletter on a Friday evening, and I always find something interesting inside.

Thanks for the note Alan. The new digital modes are amazing. Will mention qso.freedv.org in ZR 0057.

Thank you for the note Derek!
Steve, the parts for the NecleoTNC are available. Specifically the Nucleo's are available at Mouser. I just bought a bunch of them.
Thanks for the note John. Will be mentioned in ZR 0057.
