The funding level hasn’t really changed from past years but what is different is the multi year scholarship commitment. So 2.1 million includes 3 years of scholarships at the same level as previous years, club grants for 1 year and a small grant to fund STEM kits for teachers institute. All in all it’s a good approach I think and I hope that many will benefit.

Steve, I finally carved out some time to listen to your QSO Today interview and wanted to call out the enthusiasm you expressed for the hobby throughout the podcast. It was a welcome injection of excitement that I needed! It's easy to get burned out on all things Ham when scanning headlines several days a week. Thanks for the boost!

Cale - Thanks for the kind words. Amateur Radio IS fun for me - there's always more to learn, and with data communications via Amateur Radio, what's not to love when you can combine computers, networking, data communications and radios all into one activity? 🤣
