WSJT-X Modes

We take them for granted now, but we can easily forget how revolutionary they are.

We didn’t even know that such low power signals could propagate worldwide, until the WSJT-X WSPR mode proved it out.

We’re the only radio service that can do such things, operate low power with lots of FEC.

Now used on long distance balloon because the transmitter can be so low power that it’s powered with very lightweight solar panels.
